It has been a busy end to the year at Weston Playcentre. The children had a blast recently at the end of year Christmas Party. Jumping on the bouncy castle was so much fun and the children enjoyed a yummy morning tea with lots of festive treats. Of course the greatest excitement was saved for a special visitor, as Santa himself stopped by to see the children. No reindeer, they will no doubt be resting up, but it was so exciting to see Santa arrive on his 4-wheel motorbike!! The children were all delighted to receive a small gift from Santa. Other highlights over the past few weeks have been a special trip out with Lower Waitaki and Oamaru Playcentres to go on a train ride at Friendly Bay. The recent spell of lovely weather has resulted in lots of water play lately including a fun outing to the Oamaru Gardens paddling pools. And of course the children have loved making lots of Cristmas Crafts lately too. New families are always welcome at Weston Playcentre – we are open Tuesday to Friday, 9am – 11.30am at 2 Airedale Road (right beside the school) during school term time. Our last day for the year will be Friday 15th December and we will open again when school returns in 2018. Come along for three free visits and see if Playcentre is for you or find our contact details on our Facebook page. We would love to meet you! Finally, the children and families of Weston Playcentre would like to sincerely thank all those who have supported us throughout the year. We wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a happy and safe holiday time.
