Ginger Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces flour
  • 6 ounces sugar
  • 4 ounces butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and sugar-add soda which has been mixed with a little milk. Add egg and syrup, then dry ingreds. Roll into small balls - place on cold tray and bake at about 180deg until golden
